Abstract:

A crusher capable of stably crushing various information media, such as paper, magnetic tape recording media including cassette tapes, optical recording media, and substrates, and having excellent maintainability In the crusher, hammer members (29) radially extending from a rotating shaft (45) and rotating with the rotation of the rotating shaft (45) is received in a casing (21). The casing (21) has an upper loading opening (22) for loading an object to be crushed and also has a lower discharge opening (23) for discharging the crushed object. Fixed blades (47) are arranged in the casing (21), on the outer diameter side of the hammer members (29), and the object is crushed by the hammer members (29) and the fixed blades (47) when the hammer members (29) are rotated. In the casing (21) is a guide path (20) for guiding the object to a crushing chamber (26) in which the object loaded from the upper loading opening (22) is crushed by the hammer members (29) and the fixed blades (47). A guide body (75) for lifting the object to be crushed to the crushing chamber (26) side is provided on the downstream side of the guide path (20).
