Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a crushing method which can generate cracks even in the bedrock of ductile regions. [Solution] This crushing method is used to generate cracks in bedrock and is characterized by comprising: an installation step for installing, inside a well 8 installed in bedrock 9, a depressurizing device 1 for depressurizing the inside of the well 8; and a depressurizing step for depressurizing the inside of the well 8 with the depressurizing device 1 installed in the installation step. In the installation step, a connection pipe 3 connecting to the depressurizing device 1, and a packer 4 attached to the connection pipe 3, are installed inside the well 8. In the depressurizing step, the packer 4 cuts off a gap between the well 8 and the connection pipe 3, and a region below the packer 4 inside the well 8 is depressurized with the depressurizing device 1.
