Abstract:
A cryogenic forming method for a large-size aluminum alloy tailored blank component. A coolant is used for cooling an aluminum alloy tailored blank (4) to an ultralow temperature interval, the temperature of a weld joint zone (4-2) is made to be lower than the temperature of a base metal zone (4-1), and a mold is used for forming a large-size aluminum alloy integral component having a curved surface. The method has the following technical effects: (1) the forming limit is high, differential temperatures of an aluminum alloy tailored blank at ultralow temperature are used for forming, and the characteristic that the plasticity and strength of the weld joint zone are higher than those of the base metal zone is used, thereby avoiding the problem of cracking caused by a great amount of deformation of the weld joint zone; (2) the structure property is good, the structure property is basically not changed in the forming process at ultralow temperature, the original structure state is recovered after forming, and damage to the internal structure is not generated; and (3) the forming load is low, a cryogenic lubricating layer is formed on the working surface of the tailored blank and the mold, so as to lower the friction resistance and forming force of the blank, thereby reducing the tonnage and manufacturing costs of large equipment, and the method is suitable for various large-size aluminum alloy integral thin-walled components having a curved surface in the aerospace field.
