Abstract:
Provided is a cryptosystem that controls inputs to a function on a data-by-data basis, while suppressing cost of communication from a key issuing agency to a user. The cryptosystem comprises an encryption device, a signature device and a security execution device. The encryption device generates a different pseudo random number data by data, and encrypts the generated pseudo random number together with the data. The signature device reproduces the pseudo random number used by the encryption device for encrypting each data and generates, from the reproduced pseudo random number, control information for verifying the correctness of the data. The security execution device verifies the control information on the basis of the pseudo random number obtained by decrypting the encrypted text of the data, and, in a case of successful verification of the control information, then calculates a function value of the data obtained by decrypting the encrypted text.
