Provided is a crystal oscillation device in which the oscillation properties of a crystal oscillator tend not to decline. A crystal oscillation device (1) is provided with a substrate (10), a cap (11), a joining element (13) and a crystal oscillator (20). The cap (11) is disposed on the substrate (10). The cap (11) forms a sealed space (15) with the substrate (10). The cap (11) has a dome shape. The joining element (13) joins the substrate (10) and the cap (11). The joining element (13) includes a hardened thermosetting resin. The crystal oscillator (20) is disposed on the substrate (10) inside the sealed space (15). The joining element (13) is located further to the outside than an inner wall (11a) of a portion of the cap (11) joined with the joining element (13).
