Abstract:
Provided is a crystal oscillation device which does not readily transfer heat to a temperature-sensitive element or a crystal oscillator. This crystal oscillation device (1) comprises: a mounting substrate (2); connection electrodes (4a, 4b), each of which extends to the upper surface (2a) of the mounting substrate (2) via a side surface of the mounting substrate (2); a first package material (9) which is provided on the mounting substrate (2); the crystal oscillator (7) which is provided on the upper surface (9a) of the first package material (9); and the temperature-sensitive element (14) which is installed on the lower surface (9b) of the first package material (9). The connection electrodes (4a, 4b) each have a first section (4A) which is positioned on the upper surface (2a) of the mounting substrate (2). In a planar view, if a first direction is the direction in which the first sections (4A) of the connection electrodes (4a, 4b) extend towards electrode lands (5a, 5b), and if a second direction is the direction orthogonal to the first direction, a dimension in the second direction along one part of the first sections (4A) of the connection electrodes (4a, 4b) is shorter than a dimension in the second direction along the remaining section of the connection electrodes (4a, 4b).
