Abstract:

There is provided a novel crystal polymorph of ethyl (-)-2-[4-[2-[[1S,2R]-2-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-methylethyl]amino]ethyl]-2,5-dimethylphenoxyacetate hydrochloride which can be identified by characteristic diffraction peaks of powder X-ray diffractometry, etc., through specified process from ethyl (-)-2-[4-[2-[[1S,2R]-2-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-methylethyl]amino]ethyl]-2,5-dimethylphenoxyacetate hydrochloride.
