Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to search for: a free acid crystal of 3',5'-cyclic diguanylic acid, which does not contain a salt with a metal such as cobalt and magnesium; and a method for producing the crystal in a simple manner and in a large quantity.
A 3',5'-cyclic diguanylic acid crystal can be produced in a simple manner and in a large quantity by a production method comprising a step of adding an acid to an aqueous 3',5'-cyclic diguanylic acid solution to decrease the pH value of the solution to 1 to 3. The crystal is in the form of a free acid crystal which does not contain a salt with a metal such as cobalt and magnesium.
