Title:
CRYSTALLIZATION-PROMOTING POLYPEPTIDE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/181786
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a versatile and effective method for promoting the crystallization of a protein of interest in X-ray crystal structure analysis. The abovementioned problem can be solved by (1) a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1, (2) a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2, and (3) a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2, wherein 1 to 18 amino acids have been deleted from the N-terminal side, and/or any of 1 to 3 amino acids have been deleted from the C-terminal side.
