Abstract:
Through the present invention, damage and the like to a culture surface by mechanical action is suppressed in a culture container. In an embodiment of the present invention: a container body 3 is provided with a main surface 3a1, a channel 3a2, a projection 3c1, and projections 3c2; the channel 3a2 being provided in the main surface 3a1; the projection 3c1 being provided to the channel 3a2, the projection 3c1 protruding on the main surface 3a1, the projection 3c1 being provided to an edge 3a22 of an opening 3a21 of the channel 3a2 in the main surface 3a1, and the projection 3c1 extending along the edge 3a22 and surrounding the opening 3a21 as viewed from above the main surface 3a1; the projections 3c2 being provided to the main surface 3a1 and disposed between the opening 3a21 and the edge 3a11 of the main surface 3a1; a film 5 being disposed on the main surface 3a1, the film 5 covering the opening 3a21 and the projections 3c2 and joining an end surface 3c11 of the projection 3c1 and end surfaces 3c21 of the projections 3c2; and the opening 3a21 being hermetically sealed with respect to a space above the main surface 3a1 by the joining of the projection 3c1 and the film 5.
