Title:
CULTURE MEDIUM AND CULTURING METHOD FOR ANCHORAGE-DEPENDENT CELLS, CELL COMPOSITION INCLUDING STEM CELLS AND/OR DIFFERENTIATED CELLS DERIVED FROM STEM CELLS, AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR CELL COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/182140
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a culture medium for anchorage-dependent cells as a technology that enables anchorage-dependent cells to be cultured without using a substratum, said medium containing milk fat globule-EGF factor 8 (MFG-E8) or protein fragments. This culture medium facilitates the adhesion of anchorage-dependent cells in the absence of a substratum, enabling cells to survive and grow (colony formation), and further enabling subsequent differentiation when the anchorage-dependent cells are stem cells.
