Abstract:
A cup holder for holding a container in an upwardly open recess having a side wall tilted relative to the bottom of the recess, the cup holder stably holding containers having various shapes.
A cup holder (15) for holding a container (70, 75, 80), the cup holder (15) being provided with an upwardly open recess (16) having a bottom section (21) and a side wall section (22); a flap (18) and a plunger (19) which are supported by the side wall section; a helical torsion spring (38) for pressing the flap toward the inside of the recess; and a helical compression spring (44) for pressing the plunger toward the inside of the recess. The side wall section has a tilted surface section tilted so that the opening end side of the recess is larger than the bottom section side thereof. The plunger is provided to the tilted surface section. The flap is provided so as to face the plunger in a plan view. The force with which the helical torsion spring presses against the flap is less than the force with which the helical compression spring presses against the plunger.
