Abstract:
The present invention is a curable coating composition that includes (A) an organopolysiloxane of general formula (1) [R1 is an alkyl group, etc., R2 is a hydroxy group, alkoxy group, etc., R3 is a silicone compound residue of general formula (4) (R7 is an alkyl group, etc., x is an integer of 1 ≤ x ≤ 5, y is an integer of 0 ≤ y ≤ 500), a is a number of 1.0 ≤ a ≤ 2.5, b is a number of 0.001 ≤ b ≤ 1.5, and c is a number of 0 ≤ c ≤ 1.5.], (B) a polysiloxane diol of general formula (5) and/or an alkoxy equivalent thereof [R8 is an alkyl group, etc., R9 is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group, m is an integer of 4 ≤ m ≤ 50.], and (C) a condensation curing catalyst. Provided thereby is a coating composition containing an organopolysiloxane that gives a cured product that has both hardness and bending resistance as well as a low friction surface, good appearance and touch, and excellent safety.
