Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a composition for the formation of a hard coating layer that, as well as having excellent surface properties such as fingerprint resistance and excellent solvent cleaning resistance, is curable by exposure to UV rays in a commonly used nitrogen atmosphere or air atmosphere. [Solution] Provided is a curable composition for a coating, said curable composition comprising: (a) a fluorine-containing hyperbranched polymer obtained by polymerization of a monomer (A), the molecules of which have two or more radical polymerizable double bonds, and a monomer (B), the molecules of which have fluoroalkyl groups and at least one radical polymerizable double bond, in the presence of a polymerization initiator (C) at an amount of 5 to 200 mol% per the number of moles of the monomer (A); (b) at least one surface modifier selected from the group comprising perfluoropolyether compounds and silicone compounds; (c) a polyfunctional monomer curable by active energy rays; and (d) a polymerization initiator that generates radicals when exposed to active energy rays. Also provided are a cured film obtained from this composition and a hard coating film obtained using this composition.
