Abstract:
Provided is a curable composition comprising an epoxy resin (A), an aliphatic amine compound and/or an alicyclic amine compound (B), core/shell particles (C), and an imidazole compound (D), wherein the ratio H/E between the number of moles E of epoxy groups in the epoxy resin (A) and the number of moles H of active hydrogen atoms in the aliphatic amine compound and/or alicyclic amine compound (B) is 0.3-0.9. This curable composition cures rapidly and gives cured objects having satisfactory heat resistance and toughness. Hence, the curable composition is suitable for use not only in applications where the curable composition by itself is cured and used but also in applications such as fiber-reinforced composite materials and molded fiber-reinforced resin articles.
