Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a curable silicone composition having UV-light delayed curability, transparency, and low yellowing under high temperature conditions, and being capable of exhibiting high adhesive strength even to a base material, such as a polarizing plate including a hard coat layer on the surface thereof, that exhibits low adhesive strength/poor adhesion; and an application of said curable silicone composition. [Solution] Provided are: a curable silicone composition containing (A) organopolysiloxane having an alkenyl group, (B) (b1) linear polysiloxan having a SiH molecular chain end and (b2) polysiloxane having three or more silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms, (C) (c1) a compound having two or more alkoxysilyl groups in one molecule and (c2) one or more organic compounds selected from organic compounds having an alkoxysilyl group and an epoxy group in one molecule, and (D) a photoactive platinum group metal catalyst, the SiH/Vi ratio of the curable silicone composition being 1 or greater and the photoactive platinum group metal catalyst content of the component (D) being within a range of 15 ppm or less in terms of solid content; and an application of said curable silicone composition.
