Abstract:
A curable silicone resin composition that comprises: (A) a curable silicone resin-forming component having a viscosity of 0.02-100 Pa⋅s inclusive; (B) surface-modified metal oxide particles, said metal oxide particles being surface-modified with a surface modifying agent having a reactive functional group and having an average primary particle size of 3-10 nm inclusive; and (C) 0.1-15 mass% inclusive, relative to the total amount of the composition, of a silicone compound having a reactive functional group, the viscosity of said silicone compound being lower than the viscosity of component (A) and 0.01-1.0 Pa⋅s inclusive, and has a viscosity of 1.0-100 Pa⋅s inclusive. With the use of this curable silicone resin composition, provided are: a curable silicone resin composition comprising surface-modified metal oxide particles, said curable silicone resin composition exhibiting a high transparency and good mechanical properties when used in a sealing agent for photosemiconductor light emitting devices, etc., having good handling properties when mixed with other functional materials or injected into packages, and showing little volume reduction or bubbling in the course of curing; a silicone resin composite; a photosemiconductor light emitting device in which the silicone resin composite is used as a sealing agent; and a luminaire and a liquid crystal imaging device both provided with the photosemiconductor light emitting device.
