Abstract:
This currency-processing device enables a currency-processing-related operation to be performed properly according to whether the currency-processing device is linked to an external device. The currency-processing device comprises: a conveyance unit that conveys currency; a mounting unit that enables a cassette for storing currency to be attached or detached; and a control unit that performs predetermined currency-related processing. When performing the predetermined processing, the control unit selectively selects, from the cassette and a location other than the cassette, a conveyance destination for currency conveyed by the conveyance unit, on the basis of a state of linkage between the currency-processing device and the external device.
