Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a current amount detector capable of highly accurate current amount detection over a wide frequency range. A current amount detector having a current line that has a gap between a branch position and a merging position and a first current path and second current path that have equal cross-sectional areas and are separated by the gap and a magnetic sensor that is disposed in the gap and detects the magnetic field generated by measurement current flowing through the current line, said current amount detector being characterized in that the relationship between the width (g) and thickness (t) of the gap satisfies the relationship t/g ≤ 1 and the magnetic sensor is disposed within the area of ±g/6 from the center of the gap in the width direction.
