Abstract:
A current-carrying conductor for a quasi-isotropic high current-carrying superconducting cable, comprising a frame (5), superconductors (3), metal cover layers (4), an insulating layer (6), a shielding layer (7) and a protective housing (8) arranged from inside to outside. The frame (5) is a hollow metal frame, and an inner cooling channel (10) and an outer cooling channel (11) are formed in the axial direction in the hollow part of the frame (5). A plurality of channel grooves (50) which are spiral in the longitudinal direction as a whole are provided at uniform intervals along the circumference on the outer surface of the frame (5). A superconductor (3) is stacked in each channel groove (50), and the superconductor (3) in each channel groove (50) is covered with a metal cover layer (4). The insulating layer (6) is wrapped around the outer surface of the frame (5) covered with the metal cover layers (4). The shielding layer (7) is provided on the outer surface of the insulating layer (6), and the shielding layer (7) is grounded at one end or at two ends. The protective housing (8) is provided outside the shielding layer (7). The superconductor of the current-carrying conductor for a quasi-isotropic high current-carrying superconducting cable has good isotropy, a large current-carrying capability, a good fixing effect, and a good cooling effect.
