Abstract:
Provided by the present application are a current collecting member, a secondary battery and a fabrication method, the secondary battery comprising an electrode assembly, a housing, a top cover assembly and a current collecting member. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing and comprises a main part and a first tab, the first tab extending from an end of the main part along the transverse direction. The top cover assembly comprises a top cover plate and a first electrode terminal that is disposed on the top cover plate, said top cover plate being connected to the housing. The current collecting member is connected to the first tab and the first electrode terminal. The current collecting member comprises a substrate and a support plate, the substrate being provided at a side of the main part along the transverse direction, the support plate extending from an end part of the substrate in the longitudinal direction, and the first tab being connected to the support plate. One end of the main part protrudes from an end of the substrate along a direction away from the top cover plate. The substrate is provided with a channel, and the channel places an end surface of the main part in communication with a space of a side of the substrate away from the main part.
