Abstract:
An energy saving circuit is used to reduce the input power loss when a power source is in standby or has no load in the field of power source. The energy saving circuit employs a phase shift element (9). The phase shift element (9) is connected in series between an electric appliance and an alternating current power supply. A switching circuit unit (7) is connected with the phase shift element (9) in parallel. The switching circuit unit (7) is controlled by a current control circuit. The turn-on and turn-off of the switching circuit unit (7) is controlled by the current control circuit, so as to perform the connection and disconnection of the phase shift element (9). The current control circuit includes a current detection circuit unit (5), a rectifier and filter circuit unit (4), a gain adjusting circuit unit (3), and a voltage comparison and driving circuit unit (6). The output terminal of the voltage comparison and driving circuit unit (6) is connected with the switching circuit unit (7). As a module, the energy saving circuit can be conveniently connected between a variety of electric appliances and a power supply, so as to enable the saving of electric energy resource.
