Abstract:

Disclosed are a current converter and a driving method therefor, wherein same belong to the technical field of power electronics. A switch circuit of the current converter comprises three switch units, wherein a first switch unit comprises a first switch device, a second switch device, a third switch device and a fourth switch device, these being connected in series; a second switch unit comprises a fifth switch device and a sixth switch device, these being connected in series; and a third switch unit comprises a seventh switch device and an eighth switch device, these being connected in series. When the first switch device and the fifth switch device are switched on, and an output end of the switch circuit is connected to a first end of a direct-current voltage source, the seventh switch device is controlled such that same is switched on; and when the fourth switch device and the sixth switch device are switched on, and the output end of the switch circuit is connected to a second end of the direct-current voltage source, the eighth switch device is controlled such that same is switched on. Therefore, a switch-on voltage drop between two output ends of the direct-current voltage source and the output ends of the switch circuit can be reduced to a voltage drop of one switch device, and the switch-on loss of the current converter can be effectively reduced.
