Title:
CURRENT DETECTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/026256
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a current detection device (1) for detecting the current flowing to a bus bar, the purpose of the present invention is to enable the miniaturisation of the device using a relatively small magnetic core (10), and to enable the prevention of excess heat generation in the bus bar. The current detection device (1) is provided with a bus bar (30) for current detection. The bus bar (30) for current detection comprises a member in which both end sections of a rod-shaped conductor passing through a hollow portion (11) of the magnetic core (10) are machined. Both machined end sections are terminal portions (32) which are connected to the connection terminals at the front and the end of the current transmission path of the conductor. The terminal portions (32) may include: terminal portions (32a) which are pressed into a plate shape wider than the other section, and which have a through-hole (32z) formed therein; terminal portions (32b) which are machined to be more thick than the other section by upsetting, and which have a screw hole (32y) formed therein; and terminal portions (32c) which have a protruding portion or a groove (32x) for a snap-fit connection formed thereon.
