Abstract:
A calculation unit (8) calculates the value of primary-side current of a current transformer (2) on the basis of consideration that: the product of a pulse waveform on-duty period and the end-to-end voltage of a reset resistor (4) is equal to the product of a pulse waveform off-duty period and the end-to-end voltage of the reset resistor (4); and the ratio between a difference value between the maximum value and the minimum value of primary-side current of the current transformer (2) and a difference value between the maximum value and the minimum value of secondary-side current of the current transformer (2) is proportional to a reciprocal of the ratio between the number of windings of a primary winding (N1) and the number of windings of a secondary winding (N2) in the current transformer (2).
