Abstract:
A current detector is provided that is capable of measuring a large current with a high degree of accuracy and high reliability. The current detector is provided with a first wiring member (11) comprising a highly conductive material, a second wiring member (12) comprising a highly conductive material, and a resistor (13) comprising a metal material having a smaller temperature coefficient of resistance than the highly conductive materials used in the wiring members. The first wiring member and second wiring member are welded to the resistor, and the second wiring member is longer than the first wiring member. The second wiring member (12) has a plurality of bent portions (16, 17, 18). The plurality of bent portions include portions bent horizontally and portions bent vertically. Voltage detection terminals (14, 15) are formed on the first and second wiring members (11, 12) in the vicinity of the resistor (13).
