Title:
CURRENT DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/074062
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In order to increase the magnetic flux density that passes through a magnetic core and to optimize arrangement of a probe coil in a manner corresponding to the structure of the magnetic core, this current sensor 10 is provided with: multiple magnetic core members 22, 23 which are stacked in a state in which plate-shape long leg parts 22b, 23b overlap with each other in the thickness direction in a position along one long edge of the current sensor, and, in a position along the other long edge thereof, plate-shape upper short legs 22c, 23c and lower short legs 22d, 23d are placed abutting each other with a gap therebetween; a probe coil unit 50 which is arranged on the magnetic circuit, in a position along the other long edge; secondary windings 60a, 70a which generate a magnetic field in the magnetic circuit in the direction opposite of the magnetic field generated by the current being detected; a detection circuit which, on the basis of a secondary current necessary for eliminating the output current of the probe coil, outputs a detection signal corresponding to the detected current; and a primary conductor 30 which, passing through the inside of the magnetic circuit, forms a conducting path extending around the outside of the probe coil.
