Abstract:
Provided is a current differential relay (53A), wherein a voltage calculation unit (74) calculates, as a first specific point voltage, voltage at a specific point on the line connecting the first and second terminals of a transmission line on the basis of current data (I1) and voltage data (V1) at the first terminal and calculates, as a second specific point voltage, voltage at the specific point on the basis of current data (Is1) and voltage data (Vs1) at the second terminal. The voltage calculation unit (74) calculates the first specific point voltage and the second specific point voltage in such a way that a first line connecting the first terminal and the specific point and a second line connecting the second terminal and the specific point are each simulated as an L-type circuit, a single T-type circuit, or a plurality of T-type circuits connected in series, said L-type circuit being a part of the π-type circuit obtained when the entire transmission line is modeled as a single π-type circuit. A phase difference calculation unit (75) calculates the phase difference between the first specific point voltage and the second specific point voltage. A synchronization processing unit (73) adjusts sampling time on the basis of the time corresponding to the phase difference.
