Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a current location-based information push method and system. The present invention can push, according to a non-frequent current location, information related to the current location, thereby improving user experience. The method comprises: a vehicle-mounted device obtains a current location, and sends a push request message carrying the current location to a server; the server collects statistics about a frequent location of the vehicle-mounted device according to a navigation service, wherein the frequent location is an address where the number of times the vehicle-mounted device appears is greater than a preset threshold value, if it is determined that the current location is not the frequent location of the vehicle-mounted device, searches a preset push information library according to the current location of the vehicle-mounted device to obtain push information corresponding to the current location of the vehicle-mounted device, and sends, to the vehicle-mounted device, the push information corresponding to the current location of the vehicle-mounted device; and the vehicle-mounted device receives and plays the push information sent by the server.
