Abstract:
The present invention ensures linearity of detection sensitivity. The present invention is provided with: an annular magnetic core CR forming a closed magnetic circuit which encompasses an electrical path to be measured; an electromagnetic transducer unit 15 for detecting a magnetic flux within the magnetic core CR and outputting an electrical signal of an amplitude corresponding to a flux quantity of this magnetic flux; a coil 16 that is formed on the magnetic core CR and to which a negative feedback current generated on the basis of the electrical signal is supplied; and an internal shield member SH2 disposed in the vicinity of at least the electromagnetic transducer unit 15 and the coil 16. The internal shield member SH2 has formed thereon a first gap G1 for increasing the magnetoresistance of a closed magnetic circuit for a leakage flux φ3 from the magnetic core CR, the closed magnetic circuit being configured to comprise the internal shield member SH2, a site of formation of the coil 16 in the magnetic core CR, and the electromagnetic transducer unit 15.
