Abstract:
A current transformer, which has the characteristic of manganese-copper shunts of being low cost, while also having a transformer-like separation of a current loop and a voltage loop, thus being beneficial in greatly reducing the volume and the weight of a three-phase smart electricity meter and reducing costs. The present invention comprises: a sensor head (1), a flow guide strip (2) and a C-shaped magnetic yoke (3); an output end of the sensor head (1) is connected to a current sampling circuit; the flow guide strip (2) passes through the C-shaped magnetic yoke (3), two ends thereof being connected to a live wire wire inlet end and a live wire wire outlet end respectively, for use in generating an alternating magnetic field between two ends of the C-shaped magnetic yoke (3) after being powered on; the sensor head (1) is inserted by means of an open end of the C-shaped magnetic yoke (3) such that the C-shaped magnetic yoke (3) completely covers the sensor head (1) and uses the alternating magnetic field to induce an electromotive force at an output end of the sensor head (1). Said current transformer is mainly for application in current measurement in the smart electricity meter industry.
