Title:
CURRENT-VOLTAGE CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/186653
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
There has been a problem wherein if a current-voltage conversion device is used at low temperatures, the frequency band at which minute current can be measured is limited. Also, the stray capacitance of a coaxial cable for taking the output voltage of a current-voltage conversion device from inside a cooling device to the outside has reduced the operating frequency band of the current-voltage conversion device. The current-voltage conversion device of the present disclosure uses, as an electronic element for current-voltage conversion, an element (such as an HEMT) that is optimized exclusively for low temperature operation. Therefore, the current-voltage conversion device can achieve current-voltage conversion properties of significantly improved sensitivity compared to conventional technology, even if operated in very low temperature conditions of close to absolute zero or 150K or less. Also, by adding a source follower circuit at the output stage of the current-voltage conversion circuit, the impact of the stray capacitance added to the output side of the current-voltage conversion circuit is cut off, resulting in widening of the band.
