[Problem] To provide a curtain structure and a curtain used therefor with which it is possible to offer an elegant quality like that of a fabric curtain having drapability, and with which it is possible to achieve excellent light-shielding properties and heat-insulating properties that have never been attained before. [Solution] Disclosed is a curtain structure constituted by providing a curtain 1 on the indoor side of a window 2, the curtain 1 comprising: a metal foil layer 12 provided on an outer surface of a foam resin layer 11 that opposes the window; and a fabric layer 13 provided on an inner surface on the indoor side. Among the peripheral edge sections of the curtain 1, the upper side and/or the lower side are/is provided in contact with an upper-side opposing section and/or a lower-side opposing section of the window opposing said upper side and said lower side, respectively, in a state where the curtain 1 is provided to the window 2, and at least an upper section or a lower section of a space S between the curtain 1 and the window 2 is not in communication with the indoor space R.
