Abstract:
Regarding this eyeglass lens that is provided with an object-side face and an eyeball-side face and that has a plurality of defocus areas in the object-side face and/or the eyeball-side face, evaluation of the surface shape is performed through: a step (S101) for measuring the surface shape of the face having the plurality of defocus areas in the eyeglass lens and acquiring three-dimensional data about the surface shape; a step (S103) for performing cluster analysis on the three-dimensional data and for classifying a data group relating to each of the plurality of defocus areas and a data group relating to a base area in which no defocus area is formed; a step (S104) for combining curved face shape data items obtained by performing curve fitting on the respective classified data groups, and for extracting reference shape data about the object-side face of the eyeglass lens; and a step (S105) for comparing the three-dimensional data with the reference shape data and obtaining the degree of divergence of the three-dimensional data from the reference shape data.
