Abstract:
A curved surface lens and a stereoscopic display in which a two-dimensional image can be viewed as a stereoscopic image having a depth while suppressing distortion. The display comprises a curved surface lens where smoothly curved basic lens surfaces repeating a convex surface and a concave surface alternately are arranged in multilayer or a specified condition, e.g. the varying direction of curved surface, is required for to the lens surface, and a two-dimensional display image located at a position separated from the curved surface lens, wherein a viewer can view the two-dimensional display image as a stereoscopic image through the curved surface lens by facing the two-dimensional display image disposed oppositely to the curved surface lens.
