Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a cushion body that presents soft tactile sensation and
excels in the reproduction of groove portion configuration, and provide a sitting
seat containing the cushion body and a process for manufacturing them. [MEANS
FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Cushion body (11) is composed of multiple sheet-shaped
fiber structures (4a-4e) superimposed one upon another and at its surface layer
is provided with groove portion (12). The sheet-shaped fiber structures (4a-4e)
each have web (2) laminated so that the direction of outward extension thereof
is along the direction of thickness. The surface layer sheet-shaped fiber structure
(4e) disposed as the surface layer has a thickness approximately equal to or smaller
than the depth of the groove portion (12). The sheet-shaped fiber structures
(4a-4e), as having web (2) laminated, sag in the direction of thickness (T) upon
sitting to thereby present soft tactile sensation. As the surface layer sheet-shaped
fiber structure (4e) has a thickness approximately equal to or smaller than the
depth of the groove portion (12), the force to return toward the direction along
the direction of thickness (T) of the web (2) expanded into the configuration
of the groove portion (12) is lessened to thereby minimize dulling or slacking
of the configuration of the groove portion (12).
