The present invention enables bedding or a chair to support a human body under even pressure without local concentration of body-supporting force. A cushion structure for use in bedding or a chair, provided with: a pressure vessel (4) which is filled with a working fluid (7) and which has multiple openings on the surface that is to face a human body; multiple pistons (2) which are inserted through the multiple openings of the pressure vessel (4) respectively in such a way that one end part of each piston is embedded in the working fluid (7) with the other end part thereof being to support the human body and which are slidably provided so as to keep air tightness in the openings; a displacement gauge (9) for detecting the lengths of displacement of some of the pistons (2); a pressure gauge (10) for detecting the pressure of the working fluid (7) with which the pressure vessel (4) is filled; a control unit (16) for controlling the pressure within a previously set range on the basis of the lengths of displacement detected by the displacement gauge (9) and the pressure detected by the pressure gauge (10); and a fan (17) for passing air through the space between the human body and the multiple pistons (2) which support the human body in a direction which is perpendicular to the multiple pistons (2) and which is nearly parallel to the human body.
