Abstract:
Disclosed is a simple cushion structure that can prevent the surface thereof from lifting up or wrinkling, provides a good stroke length when a person is seated, and absorbs vibration well. A base pad (40) is filled with a cushion material (50) in a compressed state, so despite the configuration being a simple one, the disclosed cushion structure can provide a required stroke sensation, exhibit good vibration-absorption characteristics, and prevent a surface cover member from lifting up or wrinkling. Since the base pad (40) has a protruding section (43), when the disclosed cushion structure is used in a vehicle, transmission of vibration from the floor of the vehicle to the base pad (40) is reduced. By changing properties of the protruding section (43), such as constituent material, thickness, and surface area, the spring characteristics of the protrusion itself can be adjusted in various ways, making it possible to provide a stroke sensation and vibration-absorption characteristics appropriate to the vehicle in which the cushion structure is installed.
