Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/135750
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a cutoff tool provided with a shoe (40) which protrudes from the front of a tool body, and a relative position of which with respect a tool body is changed, with the result that a blade region that can be brought into contact with an article being cut off is set. A dust collector is externally provided to collect cutting debris of the article being cut off. Suction openings (45, 461, 465) which are subjected to the sucking action of the dust collector are formed in a shoe body (41) which is provided in this shoe (40). The cutting debris, which is generated from the article being cut off and is sucked in through these openings (45, 461, 465), is subjected to the sucking action of the dust collector, passes through a cutting debris conveying path (48), and is discharged from a discharge opening (47). The cutoff tool thus configured can be provided with a function to suck cutting debris at a position in the close vicinity of a blade.
