The invention relates to a cutter assembly, and a printer provided with the cutter assembly. The cutter assembly comprises a fixed cutter and a movable cutter that are arranged in a staggered manner. The movable cutter may move to be close to the fixed cutter, so as to be arranged on the fixed cutter in a staggered manner, so as to cut an object that is sandwiched between the fixed cutter and the movable cutter. The fixed cutter is tilted towards the movable cutter relative to a cutting end of the movable cutter. In the present invention, the staggered movement of the tilted cutting end and the movable cutter replaces the prior art solution of using the staggered movement between an upper plane of a fixed cutter and a movable cutter to achieve cutting, thereby effectively solving a jamming problem of a cutter caused by residual glue accumulation in the prior art. Actual tests show that the cutter assembly structure provided in the present invention may cut 500 thousand times without failure, and compared with the prior art where a cutter assembly needs to be cleaned once each month, the present invention only requires cleaning and maintenance on the residual glue on the cutter assembly once every four years, thereby greatly saving maintenance costs.
