Abstract:
Provided is a cutter bit for a casing tube that demonstrates good excavation performance and that can adapt to both left and right rotation. This cutter bit 1 for a casing tube comprises a mount unit 2 which comprises two members 2a, 2b facing each other over a prescribed gap, and an excavation unit 3 which is formed to be continuous with the mount unit and on which a plurality of carbide tips are disposed at the distal end with a prescribed gap therebetween, wherein the excavation unit 3 has a central portion 4 and first and second inclined portions 5, 6 that are inclined to the right and left with the central portion therebetween, the first inclined portion is formed to have a first length at a first inclined angle, the second inclined portion is formed to have a second length at a second inclined angle, the first inclined angle is the same as the second inclined angle, and the first length is shorter than the second length.
