Abstract:
A cutter (51) is composed of a disc-shaped cutting blade (22) having a through
hole (21) at the center; an annular piezoelectric vibrator (25), which is concentrically
fixed with the blade (22), in a region inside an outer circumference end section
at least on one surface of the blade (22), and has electrodes arranged on the both
side surfaces of the annular piezoelectric body, respectively; and an electric
resistive element (26a) electrically connecting the both electrodes of the
piezoelectric vibrator (25). In the cutter (51), a wear volume of the edge of the
disc-shaped cutting blade (22) is small even when the cutter is used for a long
time.
