Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a cutter for double-edged eyelid-forming tape or thread, the cutter being capable of very safely cutting, using a simpler maneuver, the excess portion of double-edged eyelid-forming tape or thread after same has been applied on the eyelid. [Solution] For the cutter, a cutting section (21) is formed at a first end of the cutter piece (20) by forming a cut (c) in a thin metal sheet from the leading edge thereof to an intermediate position and bending the pair of segments (23, 24) divided by the cut (c) in the directions of the surfaces that are opposite each other, and the holding section (22) at the second end of the cutter piece is fixed by being embedded in a gripping piece (10). Each segment is formed on the first end as a smooth convex curved surface from the end of the cut through the curved tip (23a, 24a) to the end of the bend (23b, 24b) and then runs from the end of the bend to the leading edge (25, 26).
