Abstract:
A cutting comb that belongs to the hairdressing sector which consists of a head (2) with teeth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) with each (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) having two respective small inner-combs (25-26, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36), the handle (3) with a main power switch (37) and a central cutting comb (1) with teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) which have respective blades (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16). The central cutting comb is placed in its center and its teeth are at the same height as the teeth of the head (2). When the user places the cutting comb in his head in order to part his locks of hair into small sections by pressing the main switch (37), the central cutting comb moves by one tooth resulting in the creasing of the hairs in the middle of the cutting comb. By combing the hair, each hair tip which will pass through the creasing point, will be lifted to the blades (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) and will be cut. This invention aims at cutting each hair tip in a quick and effective way.

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. Cutting comb including a central cutting comb (1) which consists of 7 seven teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) of which (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) have respective blades (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16), and a body (38) on the upper part of which, the storage space of the motor is located (17). The central cutting comb (1) is enclosed by a head (2) consisting of teeth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) where teeth (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) consist of 2 respective small inner-combs each (25-26, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36), and a handle (3) with a central power switch (37).

2. According to claim 1, the cutting comb which includes a central cutting comb (1) consisting of 7 teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) of which (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) are at the center of the lower part consisting of respective placed blades (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) of same dimensions. The teeth (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) have exactly the same dimensions while (4, 10) differ from the remaining ones. All the teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are parallel with equal distances and equal lengths between them. The teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are supported by the body (38) where its lower part serves as the storage space (17) of the motor. 3. According to claim 1 , the cutting comb consists of the head of the comb (2) which in turn consists of the teeth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) that have the shape of a lying "V". The teeth (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) have exactly the same dimensions and two respective folded small inner-combs (25-26, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36) one in each side, of same shape, of very small size, a bit smaller in length than the length of each tooth (18, 19, 20, 21 , 22, 23, 24 ). The tooth (18) differs from the rest, while all the other(19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) are parallel with equal lengths and distances. The teeth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) are supported by a body (39) which has on its lower part the handle (3).

4. According to claim 1 and 3 the cutting comb consists of the body (39) which has on its lower part the handle (3) and the main power switch (37).

1. Cutting comb including a central cutting comb (1) which consists of 7 seven teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) of which (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) have respective blades (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16), and a body (38) on the lowert part of which, the storage space of the motor is located (17). The central cutting comb (1) is enclosed by a head (2) consisting of head teeth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) where head teeth (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) consist of 2 respective small inner-combs each (25-26, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36), and a handle (3) with a central power switch (37).

2. According to claim 1, the cutting comb includes a central cutting comb (1) consisting of 7 teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) of which (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) at the center of their lower part consist of respective placed blades (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) of same dimensions. The teeth (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) have exactly the same dimensions while (4, 10) differ from the remaining ones. All the teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are parallel with equal distances and equal lengths between them. The teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are supported by the body (38) where its lower part serves as the storage space (17) of the motor.

3. According to claim 1, the cutting comb consists of the head of the comb (2) which in turn consists of the head teeth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) that have the shape of a lying "V". The head teeth (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) have exactly the same dimensions and two respective folded small inner-combs (25-26, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36) one in each side, of same shape, of very small size, a bit smaller in length than the length of each head tooth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 ). The head tooth (18) differs from the rest, while all the other (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) are parallel with equal lengths and distances. The head teeth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) are supported by a body (39) which has on its lower part the handle (3).

4. According to claim 1 and 3 the cutting comb consists of the body (39) which has on its lower part the handle (3) and the main power switch (37).

Description:
CUTTING COMB

The invention refers to a cutting comb which is used for the trimming of the hair tips and is addressed to hair exceeding 10 centimeters (cm).

Hair cutting machines are widely used for the cutting of the hair. So far, there have been invented many kinds of devices which can cut the hair at a certain length set by the user, yet, lack the ability of trimming hairs of shorter length than that specified by the user with the hairs probably been damaged thus creating the so-called split ends. An attempt for a machine of this kind has also been made in the past aiming at hair tip trimming, yet preventing the user from the ability to part the hair into small sections on his own. This results in the accumulation of plenty of hairs in the device and crush of most of the hairs on the upper level, thus preventing their way out to the blade in order to be cut. At the same time, the user would find too difficult and tiresome to part his hair into sections one by one without the help of a second person.

Consequently, all these prevent the user from achieving the expected results. The main advantage of this invention is that due to its shape (it has the form of a common comb), is familiar and user-friendly to the user. Another advantage is that each application on the lock creates itself six small sections, each of them ending up to their own blade. This way of functioning, along with a larger surface, which cover a faster application without the help of a second person, achieve much better results.

The invention is described below with an example and a reference to the attached figures where: Figure 1 shows a top view of the cutting comb with (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23,24) being its teeth in which (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) the small inner-combs (25-26, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36) are respectively placed and (3) a handle provided on the central switch (37).

Figure 2 shows a more detailed description of the tooth (19) which does not differ from the teeth (20, 21, 22, 23, 24) where we can discern the small inner-combs (25-26) which do not differ and have the same function as the remaining small inner-combs (27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36) which are folded and by pressing the main switch (37) the combs are lifted simultaneously with the central cutting comb separating the lock of hair which has been placed between the teeth (18, 19). This, further, results in the stabilization of the lock at a particular point of the tooth (19) and achieves total freedom of movement for the user along with precise and more appropriate direction of the hair towards the blade in order to be cut.

Figure 3 shows the central cutting comb where, under and at the center of its tooth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9), the mechanical blade is respectively (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) placed. The central cutting comb is placed within the head of the comb (2) and the handle (3). The teeth (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are at the same height as the respective teeth (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) of the head of the comb (2). When the user enters the comb in the head, he must press the main power switch (37) which lifts up the small inner-combs (25-26, 27-28, 29-30, 31-32, 33-34, 35-36) in the respective teeth (19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) and at the same time lifts the central cutting comb by one tooth so that the teeth (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) will now be at the same height as the teeth (19, 20, 21, 22, 23) of the central head (2).

s a result, each lock of hair which has been placed between the teeth of the comb , is lifted to the upper tooth at the center of the cutting comb and then goes down again to the tooth in which it had previously been placed. With the completion of the lock combing, the hair tip of each hair arrives at the central point of the cutting comb and due to the inclination it had acquired, it is lifted upwards to the lower part of the upper tooth where the mechanical blade is placed. In turn, at the terminal height point of the central cutting comb, the mechanical blade has begun functioning resulting in the hair tip cutting.
