Abstract:
The present invention prepares cutting data that provide an arrangement of holes capable of sufficiently expressing characteristics of a diagram. A cutting data preparation apparatus according to the present invention prepares cutting data for a cutting apparatus to cut a plurality of holes from a sheet material into which decorations are arranged, the cutting data preparation apparatus comprising an extraction means that extracts, as first and second characteristic points, the end points of both ends of one line in a diagram expressed with one or more lines having a finite length; a setting means that sets a third characteristic point on the one line between the first and second characteristic points; an arranging means that arranges holes in each of the positions of the first, second, and third characteristic points; and a cutting data preparation means that prepares cutting data for cutting the holes arranged by the arranging means.
