CUTTING DEVICE AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR TIRE CONSTITUTING MEMBER

A purpose of the invention is to increase the durability of a cutting means for a tire constituting member, while reliably and precisely cutting the tire constituting member. A cutting device (1) is provided with an anvil (10) which is a member for supporting a tire constituting member (T). The anvil (10) is provided with a step portion (D) located along a cutting position of the tire constituting member (T), and the portions of the anvil (10) located opposite sides of the step portion (D) support the tire constituting member (T). The tire constituting member (T) at the step portion (D) is pressed by a pressing means (20) and is bent and deformed toward the anvil (10) side, and a tensile force caused by the bending and deforming is applied to the tire constituting member (T) located at the top portion (D1) side of the the step portion (D). The tire constituting member (T) on the anvil (10) is cut at the bent and deformed portion by a cutting means (30), and the tire constituting member (T) is cut into a predetermined cut shape.
