Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] A cutting device for a stringed sausage material, in which the edge of a cutting blade is less likely to be damaged and that is capable of efficiently and smoothly cutting the stringed sausage material looped over a rod. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A cutting device for a stringed sausage material has a cutting blade for cutting tied sections of a stringed sausage material that is hanged from a rod and in which sausages and the tied sections are continuously alternated. The cutting device is constructed such that the tied sections of the stringed sausage material hanged from the rod are cut by the cutting blade by moving the blade in the longitudinal direction of the rod with an edge surface of the cutting blade substantially in contact with the rod. In cutting the tied sections, the edge of the cutting blade is set so as to be inclined relative to the longitudinal direction of the rod.
