Abstract:
A cutting device for a waste-paper regenerating and processing device is provided with a conveyance unit (42) for band-like paper (65), a main cutter unit (51) which cuts the band-like paper (65), a front-end detecting unit (59) which, at a paper detection position on a conveyance path, detects the front end of the band-like paper (65), and a control unit (47). The control unit (47) is provided with a control function unit (97) for controlling the cutting of the front end region of paper, the control function unit (97) performing, when the main cutter unit (51) performs cutting, an operation for cutting a region of the band-like paper (51) to a size smaller than the size of regenerated paper (7), said region being located within a predetermined region starting from the front end of the band-like paper (51).
