Abstract:
A cutting insert according to an aspect of the present invention is provided with: a top surface that has a first side, a first corner, and a second corner; and a through-hole that is open in the top surface. The first side has a first part, a second part, and a third part. The top surface has a first region that is located along the first part, a second region that is located along the second part, and a third region that is located along the third part. The top surface further has a fourth region that is located between the second region and the through-hole and that has a smaller inclination angle than the second region, and a fifth region that is located between the third region and the through-hole and that has a smaller inclination angle than the third region.
