Abstract:
A cutting insert according to an embodiment is provided with: an upper surface with a first corner and a first side adjacent to the first corner; side surfaces adjacent to the upper surface; and a cutting edge located on at least a portion of the section where the upper surface and the side surfaces intersect. In top view, the cutting edge has a convex first cutting edge located at the first corner, a linear second cutting edge located next to the first cutting edge, a convex third cutting edge located next to the second cutting edge, and a fourth cutting edge that is next to the third cutting edge and located on the first side.
